ClunyGroup is an investment company that specializes in commercial real estate and Private Equity investments in active businesses. We invest our own capital alongside a small group on like minded partners. Our breadth of experience and depth of talent has allowed us to be successful in Canada and China. We keep our focus narrowed to a limited number of projects. We do our own research, due diligence and take an active role in each of our project's development and management.

A seasoned real estate professional, Chris has 45 years of in-depth expertise in commercial property development and asset management across Canada. Chris has established a wealth of connections within the investment community and has a lengthy record of successful investments. The range of investments has expanded beyond Real Estate to include Private Equity investment both in Canada and internationally. Chris was a Chairman of the Canadian Construction Research Board (National Research Council of Canada).

Kam has a strong, 30-year track record in commercial real estate as an owner, manager, investor and developer. Her experience is both domestic and international and includes successful tenures at Smart Centers and Brookfield Properties Corporation. More recently, Kam’s dynamic and robust career expanded to include Private Equity investments both in Canada and internationally. Kam has an innate ability to develop and sustain shareholder and stakeholder relationships so critical to successful investments.
Kam holds designations with the Real Estate Institute of Canada and Institute of Real Estate Management, is a licensed Real Estate Broker, and a member of Toronto Commercial Real Estate Women (TCREW).
Margaret Cornish MSc MBA, Principal Advisor (formerly a resident of Beijing)
Margaret was the Chief Beijing Representative of the law firm Bennett Jones from 2010-2015 and the Executive Director of the Canada China Business Council from 2002 to 2007. Margaret was a top-ranked securities analyst at Scotia Capital from 1988 to 2000. She speaks English, French and Mandarin.
